With lightweight API integration, you’ll receive immediate risk recommendations for every user event, empowering you to flag threats, enforce verification, or block abuse before it leads to downstream loss.

What It Covers

• Account Opening: Block fake accounts, bots, and bonus abuse at signup. Use this endpoint the moment a user submits your signup form, before the account is created in your system.
• Account Login: Detect ATO, credential stuffing, and session hijacking. Send this event before issuing a session token or login cookie.
• Account Modification: Evaluate sensitive account changes like email, password, or shipping address updates. This helps prevent mid-session fraud like card testing or address hijacks.

Each event is scored in real time, returning a Recommended Action—such as ALLOW, STEP_UP, DENY, FLAG, or ALERT—along with structured reason codes to guide your response.

How It Works

1. Capture contextual data using Signifyd’s JavaScript agent or SDKs.
2. On key user actions (signups, logins, changes), send an API call with account and session context.
3. Receive a recommended action and reason for every event.
4. Enforce your own logic—challenge the user, send an alert, or block the action.
5. Optionally send feedback to improve accuracy over time.
