Automation
To enable the Signifyd extension to update the order status the Order Workflow setting enables the extension to update order statuses in Magento. This ensures you only ship orders Signifyd has Guaranteed. By updating the workflow actions from the extension setting you can configure how the extension should update orders in Magento based on Signifyd's Guarantee decision.
It is good practice to manually trigger expected flows prior to testing the automated features. This way you can ensure your system is already configured to work as expected

"Do nothing"
Description: Sends all incoming orders to Signifyd for review without affecting the normal order processing flow. This is only recommended when you want Signifyd to run silently in the background.

"Unhold order"
Description: Places all incoming orders "On-Hold" while Signifyd reviews the order for fraud. Orders that are approved for Guarantee are updated by Magento to 'Processing' to ensure you only ship good orders.

"Create invoice"
Description: Places all incoming orders "On-Hold" while Signifyd reviews the order for fraud. Orders that are approved for Guarantee are updated to processing by Magento and the funds for the order are captured. Allows you to automate your payment and fulfillment process by automatically capturing, invoicing, and shipping good orders.

Must only be used if your capture settings are AUTH ONLY. Do not use with AUTH & CAPTURE turned on. If funds have already been captured prior to the plugin attempting to trigger a new capture, it will generate an error.

"Cancel order"
Description: Places all incoming orders "On-Hold" while Signifyd reviews the order for fraud. Orders that are declined for Guarantee are updated by Magento to 'Canceled' and the funds for the order are reversed/voided. Allows you to automate your payment and fulfillment process by automatically canceling and voiding fraudulent orders.

"Create credit memo"
Description: Issue a refund to the customer only with an existing invoice. It reverses the transaction, effectively canceling the payment or releasing the authorized funds.
Payment Void/Refund:
- If the payment was authorized but not yet captured: The authorization will be voided by Magento, meaning the funds held on the customer's card will be released back to them.
- If the payment was already captured (less common for immediate declines, but possible with some payment gateways): A full or partial refund will be processed by Magento to the customer's original payment method.
