Alternative Order Status
As mentioned in the 'Automation'section, you have the option to update the status change from Signifyd automation triggers. Options include:
Signifyd Approvals:
- Default - Update order status to “Awaiting Shipment”
- Update order status to “Awaiting Fulfillment” + CAPTURE PAYMENT
Signifyd Declines:
- Default - Update order status to “Manual Verification Required”
- Update order status to “Cancelled” + VOID PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
- Update order status to “Declined”
Request order status changes from your Implementation Manager or Signifyd Support via email.
Order Filters
When installed, the Signifyd plugin will automatically send ALL orders to be reviewed by the Signifyd model. In the event that you are processing orders that have built in chargeback coverage, such as with Buy-Now-Pay-Later tools (AfterPay, Affirm, etc), you may wish to avoid sending them to Signifyd.
Orders can be filtered out as long as they are providing unique and consistent data to be targeted such as:
- Payment Gateway
- Payment Method
- Shipping Method
Your dedicated Implementation Manager or Support can help identify which orders can be filtered by request.
All filtered orders will ignore Signifyd automation and require an alternative trigger (automated or manual) to continue order processing to fulfillment.
Merged Billing
If you have multiple storefronts, they will each generate their own individual billing account when first connected with the Signifyd plugin. If you wish to merge all stores on to a single account for easy billing this can be achieved by request.
Alternatively, you can also request to have stores separated from a merged bill if desired.
Toggle Manual Reviews
With each order generated there is a <1% chance of the order meeting criteria that triggers a Manual Review. In this instance, before a decision is generated, the order is held to allow for the Signifyd Investigation team to manually review the details of the order. Once the review has been completed, the order is approved or declined normally.
The review process normally takes 20 - 40 mins to complete, but in extreme instances can be a maximum of 4 hours. Manual reviews allow Signifyd to take on more risk on behalf of the merchant while keeping buyers happy, however if you are unable to support <1% of orders experiencing a delay, this feature can be deactivated by request.
